LETTER FROM THE EDITOR:
omehow the word "lake" just doesn't seem right for Crater Lake. It looks more like a mountain range filled with water. Even if it wasn't filled with water, people would come from all over to see it. As it is, it overwhelms the poor word "beautiful."
E-mail brought with it many conveniences. It's a source of learning, interaction, frequent long-distance communication, and pleasure. But it's also heavy on hoaxes.
Saving seeds from your garden links you to those grunting creatures who roamed this planet tens of thousands of years ago and engages you in the most basic ritual for survival.
